Today's reflection comes from Louise Hay's Power Thought deck. "The people in my life are really mirrors of me. This affords me the opportunity to grow and change."
I take this to mean I give to others what I believe they want and in turn, take from them what I feel I need. Complementary giving and receiving of love, nurturing, and laughter. We should all surround ourselves with the type of people we want to be. Everyone has a gift to share. What's yours?

ReplyDeleteI laughed when I saw this post because I too love the daily relfections of Louise Hay.. the thought of the week is "Every Cell in my body responds to every single thought I think"... I know that all things are interconnected and this weeks assignment is no different. The mental workout speaks to using our mind to change our lives.

ReplyDeleteI like to think that I am a good listener. I think that is why I am leaning toward psychology when I finish this degree program. My mother, who is my biggest critic, thinks I will be good at psychology too. You mentioned the give and take that we have with other people. I believe that one of the reasons behind me choosing psychology is because it will afford me the opportunity to interact with other people, which I don't get to do on a regular basis. Sometimes it is just nice to sit down and have a conversation with someone.
